Great to meet you!

If you’ve been carrying more than you can hold on your own, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m an Afro-Latina counselor born and raised in Houston, Texas, specializing in trauma-informed care for adolescents and adults. My work is rooted in creating a safe, supportive space where you can process what you’ve been through, make sense of your experiences, and begin to heal. I bring both clinical training and genuine care into our work together, helping you build resilience, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity and strength.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, supportive, and grounded in meeting you where you are, without judgment. I take a trauma-informed lens in everything I do, understanding how past experiences can shape how you think, feel, and respond to the world. Using approaches like CPT and DBT, we’ll work together to make sense of your experiences, manage intense emotions, and build healthier ways of coping. My goal is to help you feel more in control, more confident, and more like yourself again.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space to exhale. We’ll take time to talk through what’s been weighing on you and what brought you to therapy, at a pace that feels comfortable. I focus on creating a structured but supportive environment where you feel heard, while also beginning to identify goals and next steps. Over time, our work will center on building emotional stability, strengthening your ability to cope, and helping you create lasting, meaningful change in your life.
