Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome. My name is Kenny and I look forward to using my training and lived experience to guide you to better place in life. I am starting my 5th year of practice, including my time as an associate, and consider it to be the most fulfilling experience in my life. I have a focus on addiction and recovery as well as Christian counselling in my training at Liberty University. I have personal experience as a combat veteran and maintain a life in recovery from substance abuse and trauma symptoms, which has played a significant role in my style as a counselor. While I am open to all clients, my specialty would be first responders/military and their families.

My approach to therapy

I am client centered, first and foremost. I will also use elements of CBT, DBT, Christian counselling, and Motivational Interviewing in my work as well, depending on what lends itself to your circumstances.

What you can expect from me

A smile, and a genuine curiosity about you and your story.
