Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist with over 12 years of experience specializing in behavioral addictions and trauma, including gambling, problematic video game play, pornography use, and compulsive sexual behaviors. I’ve developed gambling treatment programs, trained clinicians in gambling counseling, and previously served as Treatment Coordinator for 1-800-GAMBLER. I hold degrees in Business Management, Mental Health Counseling, and Addiction Counseling, and have completed doctoral coursework in Psychology, with ongoing research in problematic video game play. As a U.S. Navy veteran, I bring a grounded, disciplined perspective to my work. I take a person-centered approach, helping clients understand their patterns, process underlying trauma, build practical coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I work to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, without judgment, so we can really understand what’s going on beneath the surface.

I specialize in behavioral addictions and trauma, and I help clients make sense of the patterns that keep them stuck. Together, we identify triggers, build practical coping strategies, and work toward changes that actually hold up in real life.

My goal isn’t just to help you stop a behavior—it’s to help you build a life that feels more stable, meaningful, and in your control.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a relaxed, welcoming first session focused on getting to know you and what’s bringing you in. I’ll ask some questions to understand your experiences and goals, but you set the pace—you’re in the driver’s seat.

We’ll begin identifying patterns, triggers, and any underlying factors, while starting to outline clear, realistic goals for moving forward. My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and confident that we have a direction to build on together.
