Great to meet you!

Greetings, I'm Kenneth McPeters, a therapist who is simply a people person. I enjoy meeting and working with people of all ages and stages of life. I have been licensed for over 15 years and have a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. Life can bring challenges; some can be anticipated, and others cannot. However, when challenges arise, individuals can pursue the personal growth that would best aid them in their future. Here is where I can help.

My approach to therapy

Therapy can provide a safe and supportive environment that leads to healing and growth through self-discovery and enlightenment regarding past and current life challenges. I am a therapist dedicated to supporting positive change. I aim to develop a rapport that leads to trust and collaboration so you can identify, practice, and set operational goals to manage stress, emotional difficulties, and address life's unexpected obstacles. When you work with me, you will experience a strength-based approach grounded in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Multicultural Supportive Therapy.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will discuss what brought you to therapy and begin to explore you, your background, strengths, perceived weaknesses, and goals. This is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of my therapeutic style and ask any questions you may have. I want you to feel welcomed, heard, hopeful, and confident about our work together. I look forward to connecting with you!
