Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Kensey and I am a licensed professional counselor, military spouse, and mother of 3. I have worked hard over the last 14 years to develop my skills and style as a therapist in an effort to provide the highest quality of care to my clients. My specialty areas are working with couples on strengthening their relationship and rebuilding trust, military members and their families, grief and loss, and adults working through childhood trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a very holistic and person centered approach to therapy, treating each client as a whole person with a unique story rather than a single presenting concern. I tend to utilize a lot of Adlerian, Narrative Therapy, and CBT techniques as well as EMDR when appropriate but my work is driven by what would be most effective for the client sitting in front of me and what they are comfortable with.

Having someone to walk alongside you while you find your way and discover parts of yourself or even re-discover a self that has been neglected can be exactly what you need to chart a new course. Whatever you find yourself dealing with, I'm here to help! Let's talk soon!
