Great to meet you!

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support, I'm glad you're here. I am a licensed clinician and lover of stand-up comedy. I believe healing happens through connection, collaboration, and evidence-based care. I provide a warm, trauma-informed approach that helps clients feel supported while empowering them to make meaningful changes in their lives. Healing happens one step at a time, and I'm honored to support that process. My own healing journey is one which encourages me to stay connected to my Belgian roots, by discovering new dishes that allow me to indulge in flavorful cheese or decadent chocolate.

My approach to therapy

  • My clinical approach focuses on bridging the gap between mental health and addiction, recognizing that these challenges are often deeply interconnected. I have considerable experience working with military veterans and individuals navigating trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
  • Because no two people are alike, I tailor treatment to each individual's goals, strengths, and experiences. I draw from evidence-based modalities including attachment-focused EMDR, DBT, ACT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems to address the underlying causes of distress—not just the symptoms.

What you can expect from me

  • Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. I'll spend time learning about your story, what has brought you to therapy, your strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve. Just as importantly, you'll have the chance to ask questions and determine whether we're a good fit.
  • You can expect honesty, compassion, and collaboration from the very beginning. While therapy isn't always easy, you won't have to navigate it alone. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling understood, encouraged, and with a clearer sense of direction for the work ahead.
