Great to meet you!

When a child has been through more than they should, or when a family is navigating trauma, foster care, or adoption, the right support changes everything. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and the weight of whatever life has handed them, including the complex emotions that come with foster care and adoption experiences.

With more than a 10 years in mental health, I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk beside you as a guide and support as you build on your strengths and work toward the future you envision.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, transparent, and shaped around what works for you. Depending on your needs, I draw from evidence-based methods including EMDR

for trauma processing, Trauma-Focused CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and Motivational Interviewing. For families with young children, I also use Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to

strengthen the bond between caregivers and kids. Whatever we use, the focus stays on your experience, your strengths, and the progress that feels meaningful.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to share what's been going on in your own words, at whatever pace feels right. I'll ask about your current concerns, your history, and what you're hoping to get from therapy.

There's no right or wrong way to show up. By the end, we'll have a clearer picture of your goals and a starting point for our work together. Most people leave the first session feeling heard, even if they weren't sure what to expect going in.
