Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over 10 years of counseling experience in the school setting. I hold a Master of Education degree in Educational Psychology/Counseling and have worked with adolescents and young adults through private practice since the summer of 2020. I help with concerns such as anxiety, anger, life changes, and intrapersonal and interpersonal conflict.

My approach to therapy

I believe every individual has the capacity to achieve their desired potential if given the support they need become their best, whole self, despite personal or environmental obstacles. To address clients’ concerns in ways that best fit their needs, I use an integrative approach to counseling including cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and acceptance & commitment therapies. I also incorporate motivational interviewing, positive psychology, and mindfulness.

What you can expect from me

I enjoy helping individuals navigate life despite the obstacles and work to become their best self. While the struggles in life will not disappear, it is important that necessary skills are learned and practiced to help address these challenges and emerge stronger and wiser than before. It is my hope that clients feel encouraged and capable of meeting their counseling goals through our work together.
