Great to meet you!

I am Keri McCloud, a Licensed Professional Counselor providing therapy in a variety of areas including: substance use disorders, family members impacted by a loved one with a substance use disorder, grief and loss, borderline personality disorder, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I have multiple years of experience working in the community mental health profession working in various capacities to support and help others. I have been in the mental health profession since 2005.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My primary approach to therapy is initially to get to know the client and build rapport. From that initial encounter with my client I tailor treatment to meet an individual's needs and goals in therapy. I strive to be non-judgmental, person-centered, and affirming in all interactions with the clients I serve. I aim to supply my clients with skills to reach the goals they have for therapy. I align with dialectical principles of acceptance and change.

What you can expect from our first session

To provide clients with a secure, safe space where they can process whatever is troubling their heart and mind, find guidance, and if so desired, solutions to address whatever they are facing and walk away feeling a sense of peace and coping skills to address the goals they have in therapy.
