Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Keri!

I currently hold a Master of Science in clinical addiction psychology, a Master of Science in clinical forensic psychology, am enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy program in psychology, and am committed to providing culturally informed, empathetic care in a supportive and collaborative environment. I predominantly work with justice-involved adults (probation, parole, reentry) who struggle with substance use and/or mental health disorders, along with other social determinants of health.

My approach to therapy

I aim to promote overall psychological wellbeing through emphasizing a holistic, client-centered, strength-based approach that recognizes the intricate interplay between trauma, current psychological functioning, and pathways for recovery and individual development.

What you can expect from me

My approach integrates evidence-based and trauma-informed practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (DBT/CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Person-Centered therapeutic techniques to improve overall psychological functioning. I am dedicated to adhering to ethical standards of practice, maintaining cultural competence, and providing a non-judgmental atmosphere in which clients feel safe and heard
