Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Keri Walker, and I am a Licensed Professional Therapist based in Pennsylvania. I have over 21 years of experience in the mental health field, working across a wide range of settings, including community mental health, counseling and administration, forensic counseling, substance abuse counseling, drug and crime prevention, and private practice with adults and couples. I earned my master’s degree from Gannon University in 2008 and am certified in TEAM-CBT. My work is grounded in evidence-based practices, compassion, and a commitment to helping clients create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is structured, goal-oriented, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I focus on helping clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, while actively working to rewire unhelpful patterns and build practical skills that can be used long after therapy ends.

I believe therapy should be purposeful—not limited to an hour of venting each week. While processing is important, real change happens through practice, accountability, and challenging what is comfortable. Change is not always easy, but it is definitely worth it! I am committed to supporting you through every step of that process.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I'll ask questions to better understand your current concerns, symptoms, personal history and what you hope to gain from therapy.

There are many skilled and compassionate therapists out there, but not every therapist is the right fit for every person. Finding the right "vibe" matters. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and confident that we can work well together.
