Great to meet you!

Hello, I have been a practicing therapist since I graduated in 2018 with a Masters of Education in Counseling. Prior to that I was the Prevention Education Specialist and a victim advocate at a rape crisis center in WV for 10 years. I have spent my entire adult career working as a mental health provider and case manager in Domestic violence shelters, Youth residential facilities, Substance abuse rehabilitation centers, and community, non-profit organizations. As a therapist, I work exceptionally well with teens and adults who are needing to find clarity, change, and purpose in life.

My approach to therapy

I naturally use cognitive behavioral therapy but I am not limited to that approach. I feel depending on the situation and the person, we can decide together which works best. I believe establishing a trusting relationship is the key to feeling safe and comfortable for therapy to be effective.

What you can expect from me

In our first session I will do my best to make you feel at ease. I always call it the "meet and greet". I want us to get to know each other a little bit, address any concerns and goals for therapy. The most important thing is I will never make you talk about something you are not ready to talk about. We go at your pace.
