Great to meet you!

Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. With over 25 years of experience in mental health and substance use services, I bring a holistic, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to therapy. I specialize in trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, adoption, blended families, parenting, gender identity, and LGBTQ+ issues.

I’m warm, real, and collaborative. You can expect open, judgment-free conversations that leave you feeling supported—and challenged in the best way—to grow and make changes that last. My goal is to provide a safe space where you can process life’s stressors, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with your sense of resilience and self-worth.

Clients often describe my style as approachable and empowering. I draw from a range of modalities—CBT, DBT, Narrative, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused therapies—tailoring each session to your unique needs. Together, we’ll work to develop practical coping strategies, shift unhelpful patterns, and uncover new ways of experiencing yourself and others.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey to a more peaceful, fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

Finding the right approach in therapy matters—and there’s no one-size-fits-all. I use an eclectic approach, blending techniques from a wide range of modalities to meet your unique needs. My toolkit includes Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness-Based strategies, Compassion-Focused therapy, Attachment-Based approaches, Humanistic, Person-Centered, and culturally sensitive practices.

Together, we’ll find the combination that works best for you—helping you process challenges, build coping skills, and create lasting change. My goal is to provide a flexible, supportive, and collaborative space where your growth and healing can flourish.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about you—sharing what’s been challenging and what you hope to change. You’ll find a warm, nonjudgmental space where we listen, explore, and start to map out a path forward together. I use an eclectic approach, drawing from a variety of therapeutic techniques to tailor our work to your unique needs. By the end of our session, you’ll feel heard, supported, and clear on the next steps toward growth, healing, and stronger coping skills.
