Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can be difficult, but you don’t have to do it alone. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 16 years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Throughout my career, I have worked in community mental health and held leadership roles overseeing outpatient mental health programs.

I specialize in helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, infertility, women’s issues, and life transitions. I believe that while our experiences shape us, they do not have to define us. I am trained EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative process—you are the expert on your life. My role is to provide support, perspective, and evidence-based tools in a warm, nonjudgmental environment. I value open and direct communication and believe honesty and trust are essential to meaningful change. While I will always approach our work with compassion and empathy, I am also comfortable gently challenging unhelpful patterns and offering feedback when it may help you move toward your goals.

My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and individualized, incorporating EMDR, TF-CBT, cognitive behavioral techniques, and other approaches based on your needs.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant life experiences, and what you hope to gain from treatment. There is no pressure to share everything right away. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported while we begin developing a plan that fits your goals and needs.

Seeking support takes courage, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.
