Great to meet you!
I am a therapist who consistently believe in the power of positivity and its strong ability to positively influence our thoughts, mood, and behavior in very pleasant ways. I strongly believe we can still be our best self even after we have experienced very unpleasant circumstances: remember, the unpleasant circumstances do not negatively define who we are, nor do they negatively define who we become. We have the power and ability to transform even the most unpleasant experiences into something that leads to positive growth and progress for ourselves.
I have over nine years experience as a therapist. I specialize in assisting clients to eliminate anxiety, to heal from trauma, to recover from narcissistic abuse, and to eliminate symptoms of depression. I also offer couples therapy and family therapy. I assist couples to regain, improve, and increase intimacy, to improve communication patterns, and to handle conflict in peaceful, respectful, and appropriate ways. I work with parents to improve parenting skills and parenting style. I also offer grief counseling, divorce counseling, and career counseling.
I received my master’s degree in clinical social work from Rutgers University. My bachelor’s degree is in Psychology with a minor in education (Honors). I am a member of Psi Chi: The International Honor Society for Psychology.
