Hi! I'm Kerry. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with additional specialized certification in Perinatal Mental Health. I am especially interested in maternal mental health but I also enjoy working with adults (18+) with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, and PTSD.
I received my B.A. in Psychology from Yale University and my Master's in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University.
I believe mental health care requires a foundation of teamwork between you and I. My approach is centered on working together to create treatment plans that align with your unique preferences & goals. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and I hope to explain different treatment options in a way that empowers you to make the choices that best fit your needs.
Asking for help is hard! I know the first session with a new provider can be a little nerve wracking. I aim to create a warm, welcoming space to make you feel comfortable. The goal of our first session will be to learn more about what brings you in, what has (and has not!) worked before, and your treatment preferences. We'll use all that to then make a plan together for where to go from here.
