Great to meet you!

ONLY taking in-person clients at this time

Hi there! My name is Kesy (pronounced like Casey) and I look forward to collaborating with you about your therapy goals and how to support your journey in learning more about yourself. I believe that everyone deserves therapy!

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is based on evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Solution Focused Therapy, and CBT however my overall approach to therapy is relational. I am a human first; therapist second. My personal experiences with reconciling the conflicts between an American upbringing and traditional Asian values also informs my work. I approach each client with an open mind because every individual is unique. Therapy is meant to be dynamic; it is based upon collaboration and authenticity.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe in the power of knowing-your personal experiences matter and I will support your experiences with psycho-education and perspective. I work to set up an environment that is conversational, relational and at times, challenging. We will work together to create goals that make the most sense for you and these goals will change as you do in our time together! I do not want therapy to feel like an interview but more similar to an authentic conversation with the primary topic being you.
