Great to meet you!
In my work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I bring a trauma‐informed and safety‐focused approach to every session. I move at a pace that respects each client’s history and emotional capacity, creating a space where they can engage without fear of judgment or pressure. My care is grounded in evidence‐based practice, integrating research‐supported psychotherapy, medication management, and structured coping‐skills training to support meaningful, sustainable change.
I work collaboratively, involving clients in treatment planning and decision‐making so their goals, values, and lived experiences guide the direction of care. My communication is direct and clear, offering clinical reasoning and recommendations in a way that is respectful, transparent, and easy to understand.
Cultural responsiveness is central to my practice. I consider identity, environment, and systemic factors when assessing symptoms and planning interventions. I take a holistic view of each person, looking at biological, psychological, social, and environmental influences to inform a comprehensive treatment plan.
Throughout my work, I maintain a calm, steady presence that helps clients feel grounded and supported, especially during difficult or emotionally charged moments. My goal is to provide clinically rigorous care while preserving dignity, safety, and a sense of partnership in the healing process.
