Great to meet you!

I bring over 20 years of experience working with individuals and couples, and my style is warm, grounded, and direct. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and deeply value creating a space where clients do not have to perform, overexplain, or hold everything together. I approach therapy with curiosity, respect, and honesty, and I work collaboratively with clients who are motivated to understand themselves more deeply and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, relational, and depth-oriented. I focus on understanding how current symptoms such as anxiety, overfunctioning, people-pleasing, and relationship distress are often rooted in early relational or developmental experiences. I integrate insight-based work with practical tools, drawing from approaches such as IFS, EMDR-informed care, DBT, and attachment-focused frameworks, always tailoring therapy to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a thoughtful, collaborative conversation focused on understanding what is bringing them to therapy at this time. We will explore current concerns, begin to identify patterns that may be contributing to distress, and establish a sense of safety and direction for our work together. There is no pressure to share more than feels comfortable—the first session is about helping clients feel supported, understood, and clear about next steps.
