Great to meet you!

As an experienced person-centered therapist, I can help work with you to seek answers, overcome obstacles, and attain your goals. As social beings, I believe that all our relationships influence who we are and who we are to become. That is why I will focus on building a dynamic therapeutic relationship from the start. I have over thirteen years’ experience counseling in both a community mental health setting and private practice. I earned my M Ed in Counseling Psychology from the University of MO.

My approach to therapy

I have had the privilege to serve clients with significant anxiety and depression symptoms, as well as issues dealing with psychosis. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and integrate various approaches to best meet each individual. I use a person-centered but eclectic approach that is focused on uniquely meeting the goals of each individual or couple, based on the therapeutic relationship we develop.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to gain a better understanding of the Thought-Emotion connection and how that drives our behaviors in such a way that it will help you learn and practice consistent, positive ways of change that align with your worldview.
