Great to meet you!

I have been a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist since 2000. My undergraduate work was done at Mid America Nazarene University with graduate studies and graduation from Avila University. I hold a master's degree in clinical psychology. I am well versed in Gender issues and have worked well with men my entire career. I am also experienced with Adolescents on the Autism Spectrum.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my approach to therapy, I engage in a conversation to learn as much as I can. Using techniques such as CBT and DBT, we begin to look at thinking processes. Using challenges and humor we see what we can do to change the thinking, which in turn changes behaviors. Today's society can be hard to navigate so I do not leave one wondering about the next step. Rather we take that step together.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe clients will learn more about themselves and take a hold of the courage they each possess to make the changes they want to become confident in their growth.
