Great to meet you!

I'm a Military Veteran in long-term recovery. I've been where you are, I know the way out, and I'm not here to lecture you.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with 15 years of experience, licensed in Texas. I know from the inside how heavy this road can feel, and I know that change is possible.

My approach to therapy

I work with military members, veterans, first responders, and anyone seeking long-term recovery from addiction. I specialize in substance use disorders, PTSD, and other trauma, and in co-occurring disorders, where substance use and mental health struggles are tangled together. You don't have to fix one before you can start on the other. We work on both, at a pace that feels safe.

If you've served, or you run toward emergencies for a living, you may be used to carrying things alone. You don't have to explain the culture, the dark humor, or why some things are hard to say out loud. If you're not from that world, you'll still find a space with no lecturing and no judgment.

What you can expect from me

First of all, I'm really glad you're here. Reaching out took something, and I don't take that lightly.

Think of our first session as a conversation, not an interview. Come as you are. We'll talk about what's been going on, what you're hoping for, and what's felt hardest lately. You set the pace, and you can share as much or as little as you want. If there are things you're not ready to talk about yet, that's okay. They'll be there when you are.

You can ask me anything, too, including about me. I'd rather you feel comfortable than keep wondering. Before we wrap up, we'll figure out together what comes next, at a speed that feels right for you.

You don't have to have it all figured out, and you don't have to be sure about anything yet. Showing up is enough, and I'll meet you there.
