Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Kevin Letsinger, a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through trauma, transition, and growth. My background spans community mental health, medical settings, and federal service, and I currently provide therapy, in addition to training and mentoring healthcare professionals.
I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Social Work (DSW). I specialize in trauma-informed care, and my work is deeply influenced by anti-oppressive frameworks and the social determinants of health.
In therapy, I support clients navigating anxiety, burnout, identity exploration, grief, complex trauma, and life transitions. I also offer affirming care for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and those working in high-stress professions, including healthcare and social services.
Therapy should challenge, not reinforce, oppression. I recognize that inequities in social work, including racial bias in licensing, are connected to the same colonial histories shaping the land we occupy. I live and work on Piscataway and Doeg land with humility and deep respect for their ongoing presence and sovereignty.
