Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified psychiatrist who values thoughtful, collaborative care. I was trained in both medicine and public health, which shapes how I think about mental health in the context of a person’s life, relationships, work, culture, and stressors. I work with adults across a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, ADHD, and life transitions. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and not rushed.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized. I believe treatment works best when we make decisions together and when care is tailored to your specific needs and goals rather than a one-size-fits-all plan. I integrate medication management with a supportive, psychotherapy-informed approach and place strong emphasis on understanding the full picture including symptoms, patterns, strengths, and context. I aim to be practical, transparent, and flexible, adjusting treatment as your needs evolve.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brought you to care. I’ll ask about your current concerns, past experiences with mental health treatment, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, and there’s no pressure to share everything at once. By the end of the visit, we’ll discuss initial impressions, possible treatment options, and next steps so you leave with a clear plan and a sense of what working together may look like.
