Great to meet you!

We all feel stuck, beat down and demoralized sometimes. Whether it’s by stress at work; feeling disconnected from friends, partners, maybe even yourself; a recent devastating loss; or some other challenge in your life, it’s important to know that you’re not alone and there is help.

I have almost a decade of experience treating a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD/trauma disorders, stress related to chronic health conditions, and other stressors such as work stress, relationship stress, grief and more.

My heart and passion lies with serving and uplifting LGBTQIA+ communities. I have authored multiple publications and presented in local and national conferences on the systemic factors that contribute to health disparities in LGBTQIA+ folks, and on therapeutic interventions that help empower them. I also have experience working with folks in the Poly, ENM, and Kink communities.

My approach to therapy

My approach is best defined as evidence-based, highlighted with a warm, safe, welcoming, and understanding environment. I use science-based therapeutic techniques and approaches to empower clients with the tools to directly address their difficulties, while creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for them to be who they truly are.

What you can expect from me

From the get-go I will help empower you to share your story while we collaborate to determine goals. From there, we will work together to make progress towards the life you want to live. I will be there to troubleshoot any barriers that come up, hold space for the painful parts that come up, and celebrate all of the successes. Whatever you're struggling with, I am here to help.
