Great to meet you!

I am licensed mental health counselor based in Massachusetts. I have been working as a counselor for over 13 years. I have experience in both community based and private practice settings. My areas of expertise are in anxiety disorders, depression, insomnia and ADHD.

My education includes a master's degree in mental health counseling at the University of Massachusetts Boston. I completed my practicum and internship hours at the SAGE program at McLean Hospital and Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children (formerly Massachusetts Hospital School) in Canton.

My approach to therapy

My approach in therapy is a supportive and encouraging with the goal of helping client's achieve a better place emotionally and psychologically. I take a person-centered approach in therapy. I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment with the goal of establishing a strong therapeutic alliance. My hope is to develop a full understanding of the issues that one brings into therapy. My goal is for the client to gain insight into their struggles and identify steps towards making positive change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you, discuss the issues that bring you to therapy and for you to ask questions that will provide clarity.
