Great to meet you!

Clients often find that I offer a calm, grounded space where they can slow down and explore what they’re experiencing without pressure. My approach is collaborative and thoughtful, and I pay close attention to both what is happening in the moment and what may be unfolding beneath the surface. I value helping people build awareness and resilience at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.

My approach to therapy

My approach is somatic and process-oriented, integrating EMDR with a focus on awareness of the body and nervous system. Rather than only talking through problems, we pay attention to what’s happening in the moment—thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations—and how these connect to deeper patterns. I often help clients distinguish between what they know intellectually and what they are directly experiencing, which can open the door to meaningful shifts. I work in a collaborative and grounded way that supports change over time.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll take time to get a sense of what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping for. I’ll ask some questions about your history and current concerns, and I’ll also introduce aspects of how I work so you can begin to get a feel for the approach. This often includes a simple way of understanding how your nervous system responds to stress, along with brief, guided noticing exercises that help you begin to recognize patterns in your own experience. We may also begin to explore how we would work with a specific focus, including how awareness and tools like bilateral stimulation can support the process. My hope is that you leave the session with a clearer understanding, along with an initial experience of how this work can help you.
