Great to meet you!

Born and raised in New Orleans, therapy should feel like a great gumbo; Southern comfort food that feeds your soul. A graduate of LSU and the University of Holy Cross, it took me a while to combine my interests and gift of gab to figure out that I should be a counselor. I work with all populations and ages. I generally start with a person-centered approach and as I get to know a client, we may move on to CBT, solution-focused, narrative or art therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to first give the client the space to say everything they've been holding back for years. Afterwards there will be a lot of 'reframing'. This is when you find out what you were really responsible for and what others were responsible. At this point, we start rebuilding you!

What you can expect from me

In our first meeting you should expect a good listener who will make you laugh a little as well as someone who has probably experienced some of the things you've gone through. Thank you for choosing peace.
