Great to meet you!

If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, ongoing stress, relationship challenges, or the impact of a chronic health condition, you're not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or unsure how to move forward. Others are navigating grief, caregiving responsibilities, major life transitions, family concerns, or the emotional weight of managing long-term health challenges.

As a Licensed Independent Social Worker with more than 16 years of experience, I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can be yourself. I bring warmth, humor, and authenticity to our work together while helping you better understand what you're facing, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that support resilience, healing, and meaningful growth.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll explore what's working, what feels stuck, and what changes would help you move toward the life you want. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, better understand patterns that may be contributing to your challenges, and build practical skills you can use every day.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Motivational Interviewing, and Positive Psychology. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, grief, chronic illness, or major life transitions, we'll focus on meaningful strategies that support lasting growth and well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong foundation for therapy. We'll talk about what brought you here, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable showing up as yourself.

As we work together, you can expect compassion, collaboration, and practical support. Clients often leave therapy with greater self-awareness, healthier coping skills, increased confidence, and a clearer understanding of how to move forward. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more empowered, resilient, and capable of creating meaningful change in your life.
