Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, I understand how difficult it can be to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. Taking the step to begin therapy is a courageous decision, and I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood.

My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, helping them better understand their thoughts and emotions while developing effective tools to manage stress and regain a sense of balance and control. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable individuals who appear to be managing well on the outside, but internally feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted.

I believe therapy should be tailored to each person’s unique needs and strengths. Together, we will explore what may be holding you back, build on your existing resilience, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Many clients begin to feel more confident, emotionally balanced, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and focused on real-world change. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and feel understood. I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques to help you better understand patterns, manage emotions, and develop practical coping strategies. Together, we’ll identify what’s holding you back and take clear, achievable steps toward meaningful progress.

My goal is to help you feel more confident, balanced, and equipped to handle life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, what you’ve been experiencing emotionally, and any important background that may be relevant. We’ll also talk about what you would like to change or improve in your life.

I’ll explain how therapy works, answer any questions you may have, and work with you to begin identifying goals. There is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable sharing—we move at your pace.

By the end of the first session, most clients feel a sense of relief from talking openly and have a clearer understanding of how therapy can help and what our work together will look like moving forward.
