Great to meet you!

I work with clients with a wide variety of issues - in fact much more than what is listed here. I specialize in working with those working through trauma, various mood disorders, behavioral concerns, and general life issues. Our sessions will commonly have space set aside for collaboration on goals and plans and to continually assess progress and needs.

My approach to therapy

Much of my therapeutic orientation focuses on CBT with supporting features from Adlerian and Rogerian theoretical constructs. In general, I prefer to select many of the best pieces from a multitude of modalities that best fit the needs of the client. Much of the time, CBT will underpin most sessions, but modalities can change based on the needs of the person and the situation.

What you can expect from me

During a counseling session, you can expect a safe and confidential space to discuss your concerns. Sessions are tailored to your needs and goals. Most sessions will last between 45 and 50 minutes. During the last few minutes of a session, we will wind down the conversation and focus on what goals or objectives you want to create in between the times we meet. You can expect me to be considerate and respectful of your beliefs, culture, and time.
