Greetings! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in California, specializing in supporting people who are atypical thinkers. Born and raised in the Bay Area, my clinical background involves diverse settings such as schools, communities, and private organizations with a focus on emerging adults, career professionals, postsecondary students, and neurodivergent individuals. Overall, my practice is tailored toward people who tend to overthink/overanalyze, feel stuck in decision-making ("analysis paralysis"), or value logical consistency.
My approach is both objective and collaborative, with an emphasis on logic- and values-based actions. I don't believe in a rigid, one-size-fits-all model, so instead I use an integrative approach by applying tools from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This all depends on how you think and feel at the moment.
Your first session is an intake where we'll focus on slowing down to talk about why you're here and what you'd like us to work on. You can expect an environment that's intellectually engaging and entirely nonjudgmental. We'll then begin mapping out your current thoughts, behaviors, and stressors into a clear, initial framework. By the end of our first hour, we'll have identified the primary barriers preventing you from living your values and doing what adds meaning and fulfillment in your life, so that you leave with immediate direction.
