Great to meet you!

You've probably gotten good at pushing through, even when the stress, the worry, or the drinking has quietly started running the show. I work with adults who are carrying anxiety, depression, or stress that's become background noise they've stopped questioning, including men who were never given much room to talk about any of it. I also work with people navigating substance use alongside those struggles, because the two are often tangled together more than anyone wants to admit. My work draws on more than a decade across individual and group therapy, outpatient and more intensive levels of care, so I've sat with a wide range of what people bring into the room.

My approach to therapy

Together, we slow down enough to notice the patterns that keep anxiety, panic, or stress feeling so automatic, and we build coping skills you can actually use when things get hard, not just talk about in theory. We set goals that matter to your life, not generic ones, and we track real progress toward them. If substance use is part of the picture, we address it honestly and without judgment, as one piece of the whole person in front of me. I'm especially a good fit for men and adults who want someone who treats them as capable of change, not fragile, and who will tailor the pace of our work to your own strengths and experience.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply about getting to know each other. I'll ask what's bringing you in, where you've been, and what you're hoping changes, and you're welcome to go at whatever pace feels right, including asking me questions about how I work. From there, we'll start shaping goals together. If any of this sounds like where you're at, I'd be glad to hear from you.
