Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Keyunna King, MA, LMFT, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families create meaningful and lasting change. I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amridge University and have experience working with clients across different ages, backgrounds, and life experiences. I support clients navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, family conflict, life transitions, communication difficulties, and emotional wellness. My goal is to provide a welcoming, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you. I believe therapy should be a space where you can be yourself while also being challenged to recognize patterns, strengthen relationships, develop healthier coping skills, and make meaningful changes. I use a strengths-based and solution-focused approach while considering how relationships, family experiences, and life circumstances may influence what you are experiencing today. Together, we’ll identify what is working, address what is getting in the way, and create practical steps toward your goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin creating a plan that feels right for you. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. You can expect a comfortable, judgment-free environment where you don’t have to have everything figured out before you arrive. By the end of our first few sessions, we’ll have clear goals and a better understanding of how we can work together to help you move forward.
