Great to meet you!

My name is Kezia McNair, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions by providing a supportive and nonjudgmental space for healing. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each client’s needs, incorporating evidence based techniques to foster growth and resilience. I believe in empowering my clients to build self-awareness, develop healthy coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work through life’s challenges. I integrate evidence-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, to help clients develop healthier coping strategies and gain insight into their thoughts and emotions. My goal is to support clients in building resilience, improving emotional well-being, and creating lasting positive change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, non-judgmental environment where they feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. Together, we’ll work on setting realistic goals, building practical coping skills, and improving overall mental health. My focus is on helping you gain clarity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of yourself so you can make informed decisions and navigate life’s challenges. By the end of our sessions, you’ll have tools to manage stress, improve relationships, and feel more balanced in your daily life.
