Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kezzia, a licensed therapist with 16 years of experience helping women heal, grow, and thrive. I specialize in trauma therapy, guiding women of color through their healing journeys so they can overcome their past and step into their best selves.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and throughout my career, I’ve worked with women navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, and relationship wounds. My approach is compassionate, culturally affirming, and rooted in the belief that therapy should feel like a safe space—especially for women who’ve felt unseen or unheard.

Life has taught me resilience, and I bring that same energy to my clients, helping them rediscover their strength and self-worth. If you’re ready to start your healing journey, I’d love to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, culturally affirming, and tailored to each client's unique journey. I believe healing happens in safe, supportive spaces, and I strive to create an environment where women of color feel seen, heard, and valued.

I use a blend of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thought patterns, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process and heal from past trauma, and Mindfulness-Based Practices to build self-awareness and emotional regulation.

Beyond techniques, my work is relational—I meet my clients where they are with warmth and authenticity. I understand that therapy can feel intimidating, especially for those who grew up in communities where seeking help was stigmatized. My goal is to break those barriers and show that therapy is not about "fixing" you; it’s about guiding you back to the best version of yourself—the one who deserves peace, love, and joy.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, empowered, and equipped with tools to navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to help women of color heal from past wounds, build self-confidence, and create healthier relationships—with themselves and others.

Here’s what clients can take away from our work together:

  • Clarity & Self-Awareness – A deeper understanding of their emotions, patterns, and triggers.
  • Healing & Emotional Resilience – Tools to process pain and move forward with strength.
  • Healthy Coping Skills – Practical strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and self-doubt.
  • Stronger Boundaries – The confidence to say no, protect their peace, and prioritize their needs.
  • Improved Relationships – Insights into building fulfilling, drama-free connections.
  • Self-Love & Empowerment – A mindset shift toward self-compassion and embracing their worth.

Ultimately, my hope is that each client walks away feeling lighter, more confident, and fully capable of creating the life they deserve.
