Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work and experience supporting individuals, children, and families from diverse backgrounds. My clinical approach is solution-focused, strengths-based, and family-centered. I believe every individual has strengths and the capacity for growth, and I strive to help clients recognise those strengths and develop practical strategies to overcome life's challenges.

Throughout my professional experience, I have worked with individuals and families navigating substance use challenges, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, grief and loss, and child welfare-related concerns. I understand that each person's experiences are unique, and I tailor my approach to their individual needs, circumstances, and goals.

I prioritize building a trusting therapeutic relationship by creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. I use evidence-based interventions and collaborative goal-setting to help clients develop effective coping skills, strengthen resilience, improve relationships, and achieve meaningful progress.

I believe therapy is a partnership, not a one-size-fits-all process. My goal is to meet clients where they are, help them recognize their potential, and empower them to apply the skills they learn in therapy to everyday life.

Whether you are navigating a difficult season, working through personal challenges, or seeking greater emotional well-being, I welcome the opportunity to connect with you and support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience supporting individuals, children, and families from diverse backgrounds. I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their challenges.

My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based interventions tailored to each individual's unique needs, strengths, and goals. I help clients develop effective coping strategies, strengthen resilience, navigate life's challenges, and build the skills needed to create meaningful, lasting change.

My goal is to empower clients to recognize their strengths, apply what they learn beyond therapy sessions, and achieve greater emotional well-being, personal growth, and a more fulfilling quality of life.

Taking the first step toward support can feel challenging, but you don't have to navigate life's difficulties alone. I welcome the opportunity to connect, hear your story, understand your goals, and work alongside you on your journey toward growth, healing, and positive change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is an opportunity to feel heard, understood, and comfortable sharing your story in a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment. We will take time to get to know each other, explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your concerns, and identify what you hope to accomplish through our work together.

I will listen with an open mind, learn about your experiences, strengths, and challenges, and work collaboratively with you to establish goals that reflect your individual needs. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, express concerns, and share at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My priority is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel respected, supported, and empowered. You do not need to have everything figured out before your first session. We will take the journey one step at a time, working together toward greater self-awareness, emotional well-being, and meaningful personal growth.
