Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I'm Khandice Popley, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than seven years of nursing experience in medical-surgical and psychiatric care.

I believe every person deserves compassionate, respectful, and evidence-based mental health care. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns and confident that you're being heard.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, stress, grief, life transitions, sleep difficulties, and other mental health challenges. Whether you're seeking care for the first time or returning to treatment, I will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan that fits your goals, values, and lifestyle.

My approach combines medication management, education, and supportive therapy to help improve symptoms while promoting long-term emotional wellness and resilience.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best mental health care is built on partnership. My approach is collaborative, patient-centered, and evidence-based, with an emphasis on listening first and understanding your unique experiences before recommending treatment.

Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, and practical coping strategies. I encourage open communication and shared decision-making so you feel informed, empowered, and actively involved in your care.

My goal is not only to reduce symptoms but also to help you build resilience, improve daily functioning, and achieve lasting emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, discuss your current concerns, review your medical and mental health history, and talk about what you hope to achieve through treatment.

You'll have plenty of time to ask questions and share your experiences at your own pace. Together, we'll discuss treatment options and develop an initial plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, and lifestyle recommendations when appropriate.

My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and confident about the next steps in your mental health journey.
