Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges with compassion, honesty, and care. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and women, helping them navigate concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional stress, relationship challenges, and personal growth.

My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens best in a space where people feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported. I approach therapy with humility, recognizing that while I bring professional training and experience, you are the expert on your own life and story. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you explore what you are carrying, understand patterns, and develop tools that support lasting growth and emotional well-being.

As the founder of The Restoration Room, my vision is to create a space where individuals can slow down, reflect, and begin the process of restoration, mentally, emotionally, and personally. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and empowering, allowing clients to build insight, resilience, and confidence as they move forward.

I strive to show up authentically in the therapy room. My goal is to create an environment that feels safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental, where clients can be open about their experiences and work toward meaningful change

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, thoughtful, and centered on truly getting to know each client as a whole person. I believe that meaningful therapy begins with understanding who you are, what you’ve experienced, and what you may currently be carrying. I take time to listen carefully and create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and supported as they share their story.

While I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship, I also believe therapy should be a place for growth and forward movement. At times, when it is helpful and appropriate, I may gently challenge clients to explore patterns, perspectives, or behaviors that may be keeping them stuck. My goal is always to support clients in gaining greater self-awareness, confidence, and emotional resilience.

I integrate several evidence-based approaches in my work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy. These approaches help clients develop practical coping skills, process difficult experiences, and reframe the narratives they hold about themselves and their lives.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another. I like to start by learning about your story , what you’ve been experiencing, what led you to seek therapy, and what you hope to gain from the process. We will talk about your goals, explore any concerns you may have, and discuss how therapy can best support you moving forward.

I also want the first session to feel comfortable and conversational rather than overwhelming. This is your space to ask questions, share what you are carrying, and begin thinking about the direction you would like therapy to take. Together we will begin identifying priorities and creating a path forward that feels realistic and meaningful for you.

Most importantly, the first session helps us determine whether the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit, because feeling safe, supported, and understood is an important part of the healing process.
