I am a dedicated and compassionate clinical mental health counselor with a passion for helping individuals achieve emotional well-being and lasting change. With extensive experience working with diverse populations, I specialize in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), combining the powerful principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with mindfulness techniques to help my clients transform their relationship with their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I am also EMDR trained, offering an evidence-based approach to help individuals process and heal from trauma.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that everyone has the ability to grow and heal when provided with a supportive, non-judgmental space. By integrating mindfulness practices into CBT, I work with clients to build awareness of their inner experiences, offering tools to navigate challenges with increased resilience and balance. I empower individuals to develop healthier patterns of thinking and responding, leading to lasting improvements in mental health and overall well-being.
Throughout my career, I have found particular fulfillment in working with individuals facing addiction and substance abuse issues. I am also actively pursuing certification in complex trauma to deepen my expertise in supporting those affected by severe or prolonged traumatic experiences. Additionally, I work with clients dealing with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders.
