Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Khushbu (Kay), I am an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have 4+ years of experience in the field of psychiatry. I love helping my patients overcome their battle with mental illness by providing a individualized care plan based on my patient's unique needs and symptoms. I have my BSN from UCONN, MSN from Concordia and my post masters psychiatry from Wilkes University.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe in a very holistic approach to most treatment plans. I believe that a lot of the symptoms are a root of something bigger. I like to focus on the patient as a whole rather than just the symptom they are presenting with. I also like to include patients in their own care, because I believe they are more inclined to adhere to a treatment plan if they agree with it.

What you can expect from our first session

My patients can expect to have some short term and long term goals that we set together. I like to discuss these goals at each appointment and see how we can tackle them to get my patients where they would like to be in regards to their job, family, or even individual goals. I like to create an environment where my patients are fully involved in their own care, we come up with treatment plans and goals together.
