Great to meet you!

As a licensed therapist, I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and safe enough to be honest about what's really going on. With over 20 years of experience, I am privileged to help adults and couples make sense of the experiences and hurts that have shaped them and how those experiences may still be affecting their lives and relationships. I'm a warm, down-to -earth therapist who values genuine connection and creating a space where you can be yourself. My hope is that our work together helps you understand yourself more deeply and move toward the changes that matter most to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping clients understand the deeper patterns behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I often help people explore how past experiences and unhealed hurts may be shaping the ways they respond in the present, including how emotional experiences can show up in the body. I draw from attachment-based and cognitive behavioral approaches, while tailoring our work to each client rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method. I believe therapy should offer both compassion and thoughtful challenge, helping you feel understood while also gaining greater freedom to make choices that fit the person you want to become.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to get to know you, understand what brings you to therapy, and learn what you hope will be different. We will begin identifying your goals and what might be most helpful as we work together. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself and we can begin making progress in the areas that are most important to you.
