Great to meet you!

Hello, thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Kiani. I am a black trans man, and through my journey of self-exploration, I became passionate about psychology and counseling. I received my Masters degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2021. I also received training in EMDR to help support my client's unique needs. I specialize in working with diverse communities and am committed to an anti-racist decolonial, sex, body-positive, queer and trans-affirming stance.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My counseling services are based on a compassionate, client-centered approach grounded in evidence-based practices such as ACT and EMDR and psychodynamic and movement-based approaches. By working with me, you can expect a safe and supportive space to explore your feelings and work towards your unique goals.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients who choose to work with me can expect to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their strengths and learn healthy coping and self-regulation methods.
