My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I recognize that past experiences can affect how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate everyday life. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace.

I use evidence-based techniques tailored to your individual needs and goals, with a focus on helping you process difficult experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience. Together, we will work toward helping you feel more empowered, connected, and confident as you move forward in your healing journey.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where we can begin getting to know one another. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, any current concerns or challenges you are experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with, especially when discussing trauma or difficult experiences. We will move at a pace that feels safe for you. I will also take time to learn about your strengths, needs, and goals so that we can develop a treatment approach that feels personalized and meaningful. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clear about the next steps in your therapeutic journey.
