Throughout my journey of PPD, a strong foundation in my relationship with God and talking to someone produced the most change. My journey has helped me put the pieces back together and truly understand what it's like to be on the other side of the couch!! My experience has motivated me to turn my new found passion into a career.
I have specialized training in perinatal mental health that focuses on women and even fathers struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. My mission is to educate, strengthen, and empower moms so that they may flourish and grow with the confidence that they can approach daily challenges of parenting without self-doubt.
I believe a strong relationship between the counselor and the client fosters an environment for positive change. A person’s faith is a foundational piece that aides in the healing of physical, mental and emotional issues or trauma.
