Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kiarra (Key-ah-ruh)! I am a therapist, advocate, and educator who is passionate about helping children, teens, young adults, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion and confidence. With experience supporting individuals across these stages of life, I provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care while also equipping parents and caregivers with the knowledge and tools they need to better understand, support, and advocate for the children in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in child and person-centered principles, integrating Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to provide individualized, evidence-based care. I believe healing happens within safe, supportive relationships, and I strive to ensure every session is developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client's unique needs. Whether navigating anxiety, depression, friendship conflict, academic stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, self-esteem concerns, or other emotional and behavioral difficulties, I am committed to helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another in a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space. You'll have the opportunity to share as much of your story as you feel comfortable with, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore what you hope to gain from our time together. My goal is to create a warm, compassionate, and collaborative environment where you feel supported as we work together to navigate life's challenges with confidence, resilience, and hope.
