Great to meet you!

’m Dr. Kiersten Sippio, a licensed clinical neuropsychologist who works with neurodivergent children and adults, including individuals on the autism spectrum. I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and focus on creating a supportive, affirming space where clients feel understood. My approach is strengths-based and practical, helping clients better understand how their brain works while building skills for everyday life. As someone who is neurodivergent myself, I bring both professional training and genuine empathy to my work.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and affirming. I work with neurodivergent children and adults, including autistic individuals, to help them better understand how their brain works and how it shows up in everyday life. Rather than trying to change who you are, we focus on building self-acceptance, practical tools, and confidence. Therapy with me is a supportive partnership where you can feel understood, empowered, and encouraged to be your authentic self.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive conversation focused on getting to know you (or your child) and what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, challenges, and what you hope to get out of our work together—at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I focus on creating a calm, affirming space where questions are welcome and nothing feels rushed or judged. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer sense of next steps and how therapy can best support your needs.
