Great to meet you!

Welcome to Empowered Creative Counseling LLC! Within my practice, building a strong rapport with my clients to feel safe, comfortable, accepted, empowered, and heard is most important. I love to incorporate the arts to foster creativity in my sessions. I have an M.S. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in PA. During my many years of work, I have helped many of my clients be successful with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

A bit about my approach to therapy

My counseling approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I focus on changing negative thoughts/behaviors, improve emotional regulation, and develop coping strategies. I use various techniques to help my clients with mindfulness work, anxiety/depression, anger management, relationships, career, behavioral and trauma. I use both art and music therapy techniques to approach counseling in a unique and creative way within my sessions.

What you can expect from our first session

I provide nonjudgemental support, warmth, advocacy skills, empathy, resiliency skills, I challenge you in therapy when it is needed, I help you to explore your deeper thoughts/emotions, and I provide you with self-empowerment to help you find success.
