Great to meet you!

I am a directive therapist who engages clients with openness, honesty, and collaboration. I hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and have experience as a school counselor, a clinical mental health counselor, and a counselor educator. I work well with people from all backgrounds and value building genuine, meaningful connections.

My approach to therapy

I take a directive approach to therapy and believe in thoughtfully challenging illogical or unhelpful patterns of thinking. At the same time, I recognize that not every client needs the same level of challenge, and I adapt my approach to provide more support and gentleness when appropriate.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is for clients to leave feeling heard, understood, and supported. I believe in validating experiences, encouraging clients to recognize their strengths, and supporting growth in whatever direction feels right for them.
