Great to meet you!

Welcome. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience caring for individuals across a variety of healthcare settings. I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care and fostering a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to participate in their treatment decisions. Through active listening and a collaborative approach, I work closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that support their unique needs, goals, and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is patient-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe that effective mental health treatment begins with building a trusting therapeutic relationship where individuals feel heard, respected, and supported. I take time to understand each patient's unique experiences, concerns, and goals, recognizing that no two individuals are alike.

Through active listening and open communication, I work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, education, and lifestyle recommendations. My goal is to empower patients to make informed decisions about their care while providing a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment that promotes healing, resilience, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where we will take time to discuss your concerns, symptoms, treatment history, and personal goals. The initial appointment is designed to help me gain a comprehensive understanding of your mental health needs while allowing you the opportunity to ask questions and share what is most important to you.

Together, we will review your history, explore factors that may be impacting your well-being, and discuss potential treatment options. My goal is to ensure that you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in developing a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and goals. By the end of the session, you can expect a clearer understanding of the next steps in your care and a collaborative plan for moving forward.
